Calling Me Series
Erotic Novella Series

Is it possible for a guy to turn on a switch and realize he’s been in love with a girl that’s been under his nose for over a decade? Ashleigh Franklin can’t decide.

Ashleigh wants the fairy tale. Ever since she was a kid, her best friend’s brother, Luke, has been her fantasy Prince Charming. Now he’s trying to convince her that she’s the one he’s wanted all these years. There’s no way it’s that easy to escape the friend zone.

Single after years living with a girlfriend, Luke has finally woken up. What he’s been waiting for has been right under his nose for almost his entire life. Can he persuade her that he’s serious and won’t break her heart?

A Wonder Woman costume, a bottle of tequila and a game of truth or dare between two close friends changes everything.

Calling Me #1

This was short and sweet but had a lot going on from the very start. Luke and Haven are siblings, who lost their parents at a young age. All three of them have formed a tight family bond, they have family Sunday dinners every weekend. Haven is newly married to Jake and is Ash's best friend.

We meet Luke a successful lawyer who is in his safe and stable relationship with Emma. When she starts to bring up talks about marriage and children he runs away. His mind just simply checks out. He thought they were on the same page. He freaked and Emma gave him a month to figure it out.

Ash, is a childhood friend of Haven and Luke. Ash is a nurse and is dating Richard, a doctor that works with at the same hospital. Ever since she was fifteen she has had strong feelings for Luke. She loves him. The only thing is that she thinks he only sees her as his younger sister. She feels wrong about having feelings for him so she starts dating to get over him.

That ending left me feeling confused because of Ash's confusing mind. She is making it harder for herself I think. She should just let herself enjoy the moment. Not over think it and over analyze it. Can't wait to dive into the next part to this serial.

Calling Me #2

In this second part I got annoyed because of what Ash make Luke do. Finally when they get together she has to freak out and push him away. All because of her own fears. Luke is not happy about this so he does the best he can out of this situation. He does what she told him to do and I don't blame him for doing it. He shouldn't feel guilty doing those thing because Ash pushed him to do it. God, I know but she was such an idiot to to what she did. Just because she felt she would be the second prize next to Emma. Hello!? Emma who she has been long gone from Luke's sight. Haven is torn between both her brother and her best friend she is the seed that was planted in Ash's head. I don't like that she did that but, I understand why. Does Ash finally let her fears take control of her? Will Luke follow through and find something else that isn't Ash? Anyways yeah lets hope for the best in this last part of the serial.
Calling Me #2

This book starts right where it left off. Ash through this book still let her fears and insecurities get the best of her. Which was so annoying, because she had Luke right where shad had wanted him. He was fighting for her will she played it safe and kept freaking out. Any who, Things seems to be moving so well, Haven had given her blessing to move forward it's like they needed it but for Ash sake they asked. I get why Ash thought they were moving fast but, Luke had a point way wait. Just when I think he can't shock me anymore he makes a decision that shocked me I guess I expected it but didn't expected him to do a 180 about it. I'm glad that it all clicked for him and made sense of things. I liked that the characters had a deep background story that they have been linked since then. i just don't know how Luke didn't see a knockout right in front of him. Those must have been some big ass blinders he had on seriously. I'm also impressed that Dick (Richard lol) didn't pursue Ash more thought the serial. He really didn't put up a chance. Over all I loved the series, can't wait to see more from this author.

About the Author:

USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels – the kind she likes to read. Her books include the novels Faithful and Hopeful and the novella series’ The Empire State Series, What the Lightning Sees and Calling Me. The novels and together each series are stand-alone although there are some overlapping characters.

Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.

Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn’t have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.

She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
